Robotech

For any fans of the old Robotech series. The DVD came out this week.

Of course I rushed out and got it the first day. It basically does the last 3 episodes of the third generation of Robotech from a different point of view and then goes off into new stories, possibly setting up a new series or more new movies.

Not bad overall. It was great to see this old story again after all this time but ends right when I really start getting intereste in what's going to happen next and to the new characters that it introduces. It also uses 3d or computer animation that though I am sure saved them a bunch of money in production would have looked so much better cell shaded.

Good movie and I am looking forward to more.
