New HBO show premiers end of the month. Will certainly give it a shot.

Me too.
Hung, Dexter, Entourage, True Blood ... finally some shows to get excited about.
Also gotta get caught up on Weeds.

I keep clinging to my instant feed Netflix account (on my XBox) waiting for Dexter and the later Weeds seasons to be added. I'm currently 2 seasons back on Weeds and one on Dexter. Of course all of the Weeds seasons up to where I am are available on the instant que. And I'm using the netflix dvd's to power my way through the sopranos currently.
Either way, I love both shows, just cannot justify keeping HBO and Showtime to watch 5 shows a year. Especially when I can eventually just watch the DVDs down the road. I'm still annoyed though and if I could get caught up on the Showtime shows I would probably consider subscribing again.

Ok watched the first episode with the wife and we both thought it's an HBO male knockoff version of Weeds. Doesn't mean it won't be good but they didn't show enough in the first episode to make you care about it, it needed to be an hour. We'll see but it will be on a short leash for me.

I haven't seen Weeds or Californication, but based on my understanding of both shows it seems like more of a direct knockoff of Californication? Anyhow, the pilot didn't do much for me either, but I'll certainly keep watching--a lot of great shows rarely have impressive pilots.

I haven't seen Californication but it sure had parallels to Weeds.

I actually think it's a knockoff of Breaking Bad.
