I absolutely can not wait to see this movie. Perhaps I am out numbered, but I think Borat was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I dont know how many other movies that actually made me cry because I was laughing so hard. This probably wont be as good as Borat, but it looks pretty damn funny... me like

Thoughts?

Ali G was my favorite character of his. Da Ali G show was one of the funniest shows in tv history IMO

Borat was pretty good. I'll still end up watching this because it's amazing how well a human being can stay in character so well. Even when somebody is threatening to kill him/her.

overall i didn't think Borat was THAT funny....more likely that I just had such high expectations with everybody talking about it, that when I went and saw it I was a bit disappointed.

But that scene where Borat and the fat guy are "wrestling" and end up in the banquet hall at that hotel during the conference made me laugh harder than I maybe ever have.

Heck yeah, can't wait to see this. Here's some hilarious Bruno clips from Da Ali G show.

Austrian Gay TV, on spring break with a bunch of idiots. The 2:20 mark is so damn funny.

I'll be there.

Although I still need Brain Bleach any time I think of that wrestling scene.

Of course, if it's like Borat, and makes fun of stupid rednecks, I have no choice but to love it.

That scene in Borat where he's singing the Kazhakstan national anthem at the rodeo is a classic.

One of the most underrated, never heard of by most people half hour comedies of all time. The interviews with famous people ... those roundtables he had were so GD funny.

Dude is a comedic genius.

Truth.

I spent more hours watching the Ali G show over and over with friends back in the day than any other comedy ever.

I'll see it, but I'll also expect it to be like Borat, in that the show was better than the movie. Great, great show. Good movie.

From the reviews I've seen this is a must watch, typical of Cohen he has a lot of scenes that will make you uncomfortable. Can't wait to go see this, Also, am a fan of "Da Ali G" show, the best episode ever was Bruno going to the deep south and to a 'Bama game and getting booed while cheering with the cheerleaders. :lmfao:

Cohen is pretty much the modern day ?Andy Kaufman, just brilliant.

Not a fan of "gotcha" humor. I dont get a kick out of watching people being humiliated. Not my bag.

Oh- and I didn't think Andy Kaufman was funny either.

Yeah, you kid, you kid.

I think you have to feel like you're superior to other people to get into that sort of comedy. But I really don't think I'm superior to anyone, as many mistakes as I've made in my soon-to-be 34 years on this planet.

Yeah, because you were probably stoned. My buzz wore off by halftime, I was a sweaty palmed freak the 2nd half.

Saw it today, not as good as Borat. I remember laughing nearly the whole time during Borat, this was much more uneven. Many more just gross, cover your eyes things. The entire movie really puts the nude hotel chase to shame. Some really, really funny scenes though.

I'd have to say the the funny was more evenly spread than Borat. First half of Borat was great, second half not so much.

A good laugh. Cohen has got some cajones, you gotta give him credit.
