Superman Returns

Just saw this.

Wow, what a stinker.

I'm sorry, but replacing Christopher Reeve as Superman is like replacing Mark Hammill as Luke Skywalker. It can't be done.

And, while I like Spacey....I longed for Hackman, and hell, even Kidder as Lane. Maybe it is just one of those hard to break things when you have seen Superman I and II ta thousand times. I felt the story was weak, and they might have been better off going with a new villian rather than recacting and bringing back Luthor.

The only cool thing about this flick was the small twist revealed between Superman and Lane's child.
