NFL Week One Plays

Unread postby paddio » Thu Sep 04, 2008 10:52 am

Alright let's get this season started!!!

** Houston Texans +7

I look for the Texans to keep this game close with the Steelers. The Texans are heading in the right direction and this game will show that. I think the oddsmakers are giving the Steelers a little too much credit here with a 7 point spread.

** Jacksonville Jaguars -3

Jaguars are the better team on the offensive side and the defensive side of the ball. I look for the Jags to start out the season on a high note with a solid win. Plus the Jags have covered 8 out of there last 9 season openers.

Best Of Luck Everyone!!!

I think I am staying off the game tonight. In looking at the game the spread seems right on the mark, not sure which way I would lean.

Without really studying, CIN/BAL under seems fairly easy.

I've got two 3-teamers.

San Diego -9, Cards -2.5, and Saints -3 (-120)

Steelers -7, Jags -3, Vikings outright +125

Still not sure what I'm gonna play. At 1 PM, leaning ...

Pit/Hou over 43
Buffalo -1
New Orleans -3
Tennessee +3

4 PM, not much jumping out at me. Maybe San Fran. Also won't touch Colts/Bills tonight.

Like the Packers on Mon night. Also leaning Raiders.

I just cashed in a nice $230+ 5 team parlay for $10 on the early games...

Cin/Bal Under 37.5
NO -3
NYJ -3
Buf -1
Pit -7

Also played Buffalo and New Orleans on a 2 teamer which I thought was pretty safe.

No luck on the college games the last 2 weeks, but we're definitely in the green for the year. I do officially love this little forum here. Let's keep raking them in. Pipe, Paddio, Swerb, 4QG, and everyone else giving me some advice is much appreciated. Oh, and the Slumpbusters are running away with their first game in TCF Brown, on the arm of Drew Brees and the legs of Brian Westbrook. Good day, outside of the Browns of course.

5-1 day, something to salvage that trainwreck of a Browns game.

Just played these two for tomorrow night ...

GB -2
Oak +3

Hey guys, i am kinda new, been lurking for a while. really enjoy lead and everyone elses comments/advice.

Had a so/so day.... still even on the year...

Det -3 killed me; didn't expect that performance out of Ryan and turner.

Best decision of the day was not laying the pts with Indy!! OUCH!
