College Football Week Two Plays

** Ball State -7

Ball State defeated Navy at Annapolis 34-31 last year. I believe that Ball State is much improved this year as they return 18 starters from a solid 2007 team. The Cardinals are lead by there outstanding QB Nate Davis. Last year davis threw for nearly 300 yards against Navy while the running game accounted for another 262 yards. The Ball State defense will focus on stopping Navy RB Shun White as he is an outstanding RB. If Navy gets behind, they have a very limited passing attack to mount a comeback.

*** Wyoming -3

Wyoming dominated Air Force statistically last year only to turn the ball over 4 times and lose a hard fought game. This year will be a different outcome. Wyoming does a great job on defense stopping the run and I look for them to slow the Air Force attack down enough and hold onto the ball for a cover here.

***Kansas -20.5

I realize La. Tech pulled the upset over Miss St last week, but this is a different level of play. The Jayhawks have an incredibly balanced offensive attack that will put up alot of points vs. the Tech overmatched defense. The Kansas defense will shut down the run and pressure the La Tech passing attack all game long.

Best of Luck to Everyone!!!

I'm going balls out this week. Taking a shot.

Tonight: Ball St. -6.5, over 61.5, and then the Astros outright at +145.

Saturday: 6 teamer: BYU -9, Oklahoma -21.5, Kansas -20.5, Northwestern -6.5, Texas Tech -10, and West Va -7.5.

Also did the 3-team college parlay from Lead's front page article this week. For reference, San Jose St. +26.5, UConn -6.5, and Michigan -14.5 (on my site).

The matchups this week are weak. I decided to make it interesting.

UM -14.5

WVU -7.5

SJS +27

WYO -2.5

As long as Hanna doesn't knock out my power, it should be sweet day.

This is brutal. Oklahoma covered by half a point. Kansas is covering easily. Other than that, I did absolutely awful for a 2nd straight week. Not that it matters cause my parlay is shot, but Graham Harrell could get his head out of his ass now.

Northwestern couldn't even cover against Duke. That's how bad my picks were this week.

Alright a 2-1 week...Would have liked 3-0, but I will take a small profit over a loss any day of the week.

Utah is coming back! If they cover I'll hit my 3 team parlay and at least break even after this horrible week.

Wow. Rice with 29 4th quarter points to come back and stun Memphis.

Chase Clement storms the Owls back to tie it, then they take a pick back to the house with under a minute left to win it.

After a rough afternoon of losing $100, swept my nightcap...

Arizona -23
Arizona St. -15
Texas -27

I felt so good about the picks at the time that I also parlayed those 3 games, just in case. Ended up doubling my bankroll tonight. If Wyoming and Utah would have covered, it would have been tripled.
