Big Tater by Hafner

Unread postby leadpipe » Sat Apr 05, 2008 9:47 am

The Oh bye the way HR by Hafner in the 9th was big. Big for the over bettor that is.

Early season tip. Paul Byrd is bad. Allow the casual fan to believe Paul Byrd pitched better than the previous season. His periphrials still stunk, and he really he gives up rockets all over the yard. Now, the deal yesterday, because he was facing a guy who hadn't started since 2 ought 3, you weren't geting a good price to bet against him, but over the total was there for the taking.

The Lead Man and peeker are off for the Saturday morning deposit.

A few things Swerb,

-It is rare, as you know, that Lead talks about a win after the fact, as a public service Lead referenced last night for future profit.

-You have made the mistake in fading Lead's March Madness selections, so he figured this one may have fell on deaf ears as well.

-The fact Paul Byrd has absolutely nothing should have been apparent to you before 9:55 last night. It should have kicked in somewhere around 2004.

Lastly, not sure if you checked the standings recently, but the Lead Man has followed his own advice and is on the precipice of taking down the 100 man March Madness pool that you participated in. If UCLA pulls it off tonight The American Idol is in great position for a win, with excellent hedge possibilities.

If you want the Lead Man to throw you a bone, Sabathia -1.5 +100 tonight.

That is all.
