Let's recap: The Marlins lose by giving up a 3-run homer with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th because their regular closer is having FAKE IDENTITY ISSUES and former Indian Edward Mujica, who is having a very good season to this point, has to step in. The Orioles beat Beckett twice in one week but then lose to Erik Bedard because they give up a two homer game to a guy making his first career start. In other news my fantasy baseball team, which had been crushing every team the entire regular season, of course, has it's worst week during the first week of the playoffs and promptly loses. This all following the collapse of the Indians.

I fucking hate baseball.

Rant over. I now await season-ending injuries to LeSean McCoy, Drew Brees, and Mike Wallace to finish off this fantasy/gambling year on a fitting note.
Fuck the Browns...

I could complain about that one, too.

Or the Saturday afternoon a couple weeks ago when my Mets pick blew a game in the ninth while tp's Toronto pick came back against the Orioles in the ninth at the same time.

I hear you both on all fronts. Tough pool to win as you can have the right picks lined up, but luck sometimes says otherwise.

Top this one fellas......there have only been 2 players in the history of this pool who have finished with 24-6 records (Swerb in 2008 - Phase III and jjgmyers in 2010 - Phase II)......take a guess who finished 23-7 in both Phases? Tough beat on both occasions and it still stirs up bad memories for me - lol.

UPDATE - Colorado leads 2-0 in the 3rd inning. A win by the Rockies forces a tie breaker between TPC and ASP.

How fitting..... If Colorado pulls this out, I need to count on the marlins (who put me in this spot in the first place).

Go marlins! Good luck tpc!

ASP.. Damn Good Phase!!!!!.......I really cant believe I end up winning.....It was a busy day with not much time to check scores and once I did see you win Rockies I just figured U had 'OL Moe on your side and it was over....Until I checked our picks for the tie-breake....great year.... this is a game that keeps me entertained daily....Now I will shoot for a 27-3 record next year since it has never been done!!!
