What a finish to the end of Phase III. Earl wins Phase III at 23-7 by winning the tiebreaker against Peeker. Earl also collects the year end prize, nipping Peeker in wins 65-64.

Congrats to both players as Peeker set the pace early and kept the hammer down until the very end. The Marlins could not pull out the victory last night as they were clipped by the Braves 2-1 in extra innings. The Marlins had numerous runners in scoring position from the 8th inning on, but they couldn't deliver the big hit for Peeker. Earl was consistently good throughout the entire phase. Earl had a number of bottom feeders left to play as the Phase wound down. He nailed wins with most of them, most notably the Indians and Pirates......very impressive.

As for the year end battle it came down to three matchups on the 'left coast' and Earl won that battle, thus winning the YTD crown.

Once again, congrats to Earl. That will close the books on an impressive season of MLB Pick 30.
