jpd had StL on Saturday, too. I got two bills left.
Gimme BOSTON at minus 145 at noon; all-in to follow.

I saw this and checked back through the posts and thought you were only betting as SirLawrence. Part of my confusion (I think) is that you were listed as JP in the standings?

I'll make the change.

Is this Boston at $145 to win $100, or $100 to win $73? (I'll assume $145/$100.)

If it's -110 then there's a typo somewhere here Swerb. I'll mark you down for $99 to win $90 since this looks closest to what was mistyped.

Fun pool. Swerb, I don't know if you need me to post results, but I have it as the top 8 and 12 of the 14 betting tonite. 2/3 on the Dodgers for an average bet of $345. The other 1/3 bet on the Phillies for an average bet of $110. Not sure if that means anything!

Also, I wouldn't notice this except I've been keeping score. Uncle June with $1000. No bets on my watch. And he's been listed "deadbeat". He's either got one hell of a strategy or....!!! (By my quick check he could be in 5th if the Phillies win.)

Dave, if you want to keep doing the updates, I won't complain. And appreciate the help thus far. Just let me know, either way is cool. I can do it or help M-Fri.

PM'd Uncle June to see if he is strategically waiting or forgot about the pool. Both are possibilities. He has to make a minimum of 10 bets and $1000 in total bets, so he needs to get going in the event of sweeps.

Tomorrow nights line...

OFFICIAL LINES, FRI OCT 16

4:05 PM

Philadelphia (P. Martinez) TBD
LA Dodgers (Padilla) TBD

8:05 PM

I thought of Eck on that Blake foul out right there. LOL! I hear Manny hit a 3 run HR to make it 5-4. Missed it. But he had two 7 pitch AB earlier by my count. God I miss Manny.

Not quite a Manny AB there, but Belliard had a couple of foul offs close to that calibre. And the line drive single works.

Tribe West? Whatever. This has the looks of being a fun series if the umpires don't intrude.

Place exploded after that Manny HR. Great roar.

Weird seeing Thome in Dodger blue.

Furcal never played for the Tribe. Damn. If they could have put one more ex-Cleveland player up that inning - tied game or more!
