Active day for Phase II participants, with 15 of the 21 players in action. Four however, got washed, with their selections of the Rangers. And the rest? Wish they had rain. A 2-9 day for the field with four people falling when the Pirates topped Jair Jurrjens and the Braves in Atlanta despite rookie SP Charlie Morton having to leave the game in the 1st inning. Four also fell when Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers fell at home to the Padres.

28 of the 30 MLB teams in action today. And as we often see on Thursdays, several day games, as teams get ready to finish up one series and head to another.

Another very active day for the field with 17 of the 21 players in action. Field muddled to a 8-9 record. Four people went against the Indians, who were facing Zack Greinke. Obviously that pissed off the seagull community, who decided to attack Progressive field and impede Shin Soo-Choo's game winning hit, gloriously guiding the Tribe to victory before flying away into the night. Three people lost with the O's, who were at home, with Uhera on the hill against the struggling Garrett Olson ... and unable to win. Of the winners, five went with the resurgent Nats, they of the one game winning streak, and still unbeaten against the Reds on Thursdays.

Full slate of interleague play today. Four or five really big favorites. Just one day game, a good pitching matchup between the Twins and Cubs at 2:20. The red hot Kevin Slowey faces equally en fuego surprise rookie Randy Wells of the Cubs.
