Confidence Pool Strategies

With the Bowl season upon us I was just wondering what some people's strategies were for the confidence pools. Do you pick the early bowls as higher points thinking they are easier? Or do you wait for the big dogs and see what kind of upsets happen early on to gauge your shot at the ??
