Wow.
I'd love to see it, it might be announced this afternoon.
Lesnar by ground and pound

Holy hell!

That is phenomenal. I'm not even sure what to expect. Hopefully Couture has kept himself in shape. I'm surprised that Lesnar is getting a title fight so soon...Either way, this is going to draw huge numbers.

Good times for UFC. Elite on the ropes, Liddell coming back, and possibly the biggest upcoming "star" vs. one of the best heavies of all time.

November officially cannot come fast enough.

imo, it isnt a title fight but could be if he wins.
the winner of this match will face the winner of the noguiera/mir championship fight.
i don't think couture should be considered the champ at this point. but whatever, its the ufc's toy to play with.

OK, so its like a 4-man tourney then.

Either way, it's gonna be a good one next year...heck, the "prelims" aught to be outstanding. I'm thinking Noguiera/Couture...which would be fitting, champion v "champion".

The UFC needs something good to happen for the heavies. Couture and Noguiera are household names. Mir is good, and I'd like to see a Lesnar/Mir rematch. Just about whatever ends up happening for the "unified" heavyweight title should be good...and I think all these matches will do wonders for the heavy class.

Now, all we need is Anderson Silva to get some fights vs Liddell, Rampage, and Griffin. See if he can dominate a heavier class.

Any of that's better than Kimbo/Shamrock...although I do kinda want to see that.

I would like to see Couture vs Nog but I don't see it happening.
I just think Lesnar will be way too powerful and a lot quicker.
Mir has a great shot also is he keeps getting back into shape.

yeah. anyway you "slice" it the upcoming fights will be fun.
much of the talk is that couture wants to fight fedor but if things play out couture will be like 50 if/when that fight were to take place.
i think white would like to see his new prize lesnar beat couture so the ufc can be rid of couture's claim to the title. then i think white and the ufc will move on and won't care too much about what couture thinks.
let the soap opera unfold

I actually saw the announcement for this fight on ESPNnews. MMA is really making a name for itself these days. As a casual fan, I would much rather watch MMA over boxing ANY DAY.
