Sturm vs. Griffin II this Saturday

Just in case anyone is interested, the fight will take place in Germany, so expect a mid afternoon start time (EST).

Hopefully the fight will be available via sopcast, because that's probably the only chance of watching it live in this country. If I find a working link, I'll put in this thread. I was able to watch Sturm's last fight this way, so I'm slightly optimistic.

I predict a win for Sturm, but will be pulling heavily for Griffin. Not only because Griffin is American, but because he also gives Pavlik a better shot at unifying the middleweight belts. I just don't see any possibility of Sturm ever getting in the ring with Kelly, even if he beats Griffin.

It turned out to be a very boring fight, with the close decision going to Sturm, deservedly.

I really wanted to see Griffin knock him out, but it appears that the Middleweight WBA belt is destined to stay in Germany for the foreseeable future. Sturm showed once again that he needs to drop down to 154 and that he is not in the same class as Pavlik and Abraham.

Sturm was exposed as a fraud two years ago, when he fought a 38 year old Javier Castillejo and he hasn't been the same since.
