WEC: Pulver vs Faber June 1st on Versus

Unread postby Guest » Sun Jun 01, 2008 6:53 am

This is the biggest fight ever in the WEC and it's in Faber's backyard.
Two huge names in the sport of mma.
I expect a pretty good fight with Urijah Faber winning by ground and pound or TKO. Jens will give him a run for his money early.
Let's get it on.

Spoon, you have a time for this or a link for the card itself?

Thanks. I'll give it a shot.

I'd also like to see the rating comparisons between this event on Versus and the NHL playoffs

5 round title fight
It will be exciting and I love watching Faber fight.
Pulver is his toughest test in a long time, Jens has never lost at 145 pounds.

that fight was lame, but so far the production quality and fighter quality are proving just how Bush League Elite XC actually is. I cannot believe that shit was on network last night and this is on Vs.
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

Urijah Faber is a stud, what conditioning.
Jen Pulver took a beating and kept on coming forward.
Great fight

the torres/maeda fight was amazing too! double ankle locks!
i don't think maeda showed much respect for torres but thats his style, i guess.

torres (aka ralph macchio) is a beast! he hits you with anything from anywhere at anytime.

The Ralph Macchio is dead on the nuts correct EST. I said the same thing when he was doing his interview after the fight.

I'm not a big Pulver fan but I have a lot more respect for him now.
He took a beating and just kept on swinging.
