Jesus H ... Kelly would take Vargas apart at the seams. How does that dude keep getting big fights? Gatti II.
Im expecting Sturm to beat Griffin, and Kelly/Sturm would be a helluva fight, and Pavlik's toughest test of all the mentioned possibilities IMO ...

While rumors abound, Loew said February looks right for Pavlik's next bout. He mentioned Fernando Vargas, Sergio Mora and the winner of the WBA title bout between champ Felix Sturm and Randy Griffin in Germany on Oct. 20 as possibilities.
"Kelly wants to win all the titles," Loew said. "We don't want to wait until March."
One scenario had Pavlik fighting Ireland's John Duddy in Madison Square Garden on March 16, but that has since been dismissed.
And although there is a rematch clause with Taylor, don't look for it any time soon.

Those are all garbage fights.
Why in the hell would he fight any of those clowns?
If he takes on any of them, he'll lose some respect. I'd hate to see that happen.

I can only see two possible options for the next fight
1) Rematch with JT or
2) Felix Sturm (if he wins next fight)
If both of those fall through then look for a fight with Arthur Abraham.
Sergio Mora even being mentioned is a joke...and Vargas is not much better.

Sturm would be a legitimate fight, and for the last major middleweight belt.
The others mentioned ... I agree.

There should be no reason there isn't a rematch.
Pavlik needs to show he's for real..............again.
If Taylor didn't take the rematch, how bad would that look for him.
There was mention that Calzaghe wants to fight Pavlik if he beats Kessler.
That would be a little better than any of those other has beens mentioned.

Taylor doesn't want the rematch because he knows he will lose again.
He doesn't want to make the same mistake Vernon Forrest made when he climbed right back in with Sugar Shane.

If Taylor has any sack, he'll take the rematch.
And Sugar Shane was the one who was destroyed by Forrest twice, not the other way around. And look where he is now, fighting Cotto next month in what could lead to Mayweather.

Cotto might take his head off
And Taylor clearly is sackless, or he would have inked the rematch already.
Again, he knows he will lose. Not taking the rematch immediately is tantamount to an admission of that.

My experience is that you can usually tell what kind of stones these guys have by what the amount of the purse that's being offered...a lot of these guys will prostitute themselves for the big payday fight.
With that being said...Sergio Mora=zero stones
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing ... id=3059728
I have no respect for him and he's nothing more than the Vanilla Ice of boxing. He passed up a chance to fight for the title and seven digits because he didn't like the location...PLEASE...he shouldn't get another title shot.
I still think Kelly and JT will fight again eventually because that's where the money is going to be...plain and simple economics.

I agree with busted knuckles on both accounts
Mora is a piece of crap and the rematch will happen.

Not to belabor the point but Mora just fought to a draw vs. Elvin Ayala last night on the Contender production. This guy should be fighting on local cards only at this point!
