Khan/Malignaggi

New postby skatingtripods » Wed May 19, 2010 5:41 pm

Just got a chance to check this one out from the DVR and Amir Khan was very, very impressive. I hope him and Maidana go at it in July. Very quick fighter. Not a power puncher by any means, but a smart, calculated boxer who will likely win quite a few decisions in the US.

Still needs to have his chin tested, but yes, very impressive.

140 is freaking loaded right now. Khan, Maidana, Alexander, Bradley the big four. Ortiz, Katsidas ... and still got names like Juan Manuel, Juan Diaz, Hatton, Malignaggi, Urang hanging around.

Look, Lead Man ain't the most wordly guy, but when he drums up enough time to follow David Huff on twitter, he'll know it's pretty much all over." ~ Lead Pipe

Maidana will test that chin. Or at least I would think so.

Khan just had his way that whole fight. He's so relaxed and laid back in the ring. It'd be interesting to see if it would stay that way if he got tagged a few times.

I think I saw that Katsidas was the other potential matchup for Khan on that July date.
