Top Super Middleweights Mikkel Kessler and Andre Ward are destined for a showdown in Group Stage 1 of the Super Six World Boxing Classic (Nov. 21), but first the two hard-hitting foes will face different opponents on the same night from different continents. Kessler will make a mandatory title defense of his WBA crown against No. 1 ranked Gusmyl Perdomo from Herning, Denmark while Ward will tangle with Shelby Pudwill in Temecula, Calif. It's one last fight each for the two 168-pound stars before they embark on the most challenging and important journey of their careers.
