The only thing really infuriating about Casey Blake is that the Indians still have not found a replacement for him.

Then there are two infuriating things:

1. They have yet to effectively replace him.
2. People are/were infuriated by the guy without #1 being the reason.

Because they were. For whatever reason ;-) ;)

Article was very entertaining- I even learned (or was reminded) of some stuff, like the whole Jose Jimenez 'era'. Funny about Fausto's tag.

Very good column but I would not put Chris Perez at #1. Rage shoots off his mouth but at least he produces, and he didn't cost an arm and a leg. I just ignore whatever he says and enjoy the saves.

My criteria for "infuriating" is an athlete that is supremely talented, that we paid dearly to get, and who basically threw his talent away. I think KW2 is the clear winner on that basis. Larry Hughes is in the running as well along with Ricky Davis.

Whenever I read a Clayman article I get pissed off for not thinking of it first, and then depressed because I know I couldn't write it half as well. I absolutely love Clayman's writing and this is a prime example.
