My biggest pet peeve in sports. Football players celebrating after tackling guys after 10 yard gains. Guys acting like asses after first downs down 20.

Time to keep dropping the hammer on these jerkoffs. Don't stop here. Another big stand on D. Give it back to the O. Another TD!!!

If these guys want to be taken seriously after giving Wisc. the lead, they need to keep piling it on. Keep the momentum, Bucks!

Every time Wisc. gets a big conversion, I see Jenkins standing around, not doing his job. Jenkins is having a horrible game.

Man, how big is momentum in college football? Wisconsin now a totally different football team than the one out there a quarter ago.

Time for the Bucks to hold the rest of the clock hostage, control the ball and drop Beanie Wells on the Wisc. Ds head.

169 yards and three scores for Beanie. Fellas, we have ourselves a new Heisman candidate.

Bring on the Illini!

I want to believe he is, but he can't play like he has an on/off switch.

OTOH, are there any other candidates who are any more compelling?

Why not Beanie Wells?

Man, was this a weird game. For a lot of the game, the Buckeyes seemed flat, really flat.

Then, once they lost the lead they flipped the switch and that was the ball game.

Not an ideal win style-wise, but it will work. It also says that if the Bucks execute well enough, no one can beat them.

They can't play like they are disinterested, and there were times today when the Bucks looked just like that. That can't happen in either of their last two games!

If Wells had been healthy when OSU was playing the cupcake portion of their schedule, Wells would be among the Heisman front runners.

Think about it, a healthy Wells (and a NW game that is competitive enough to keep him past the 1st quarter) gives him probably 300 more yards thus far.

Right now he has 1164, give him 1500 at this point (leaning toward finishing around 1800 and he would have a shot). As it is now, not so much.

Right now, I think the most Heisman worthy Buckeye I have seen is Laurinaitis. He just makes every play all the time, he might be the best LB to play at OSU since Spielman and if he comes back next year he could be the best ever.
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

I don't see it playing out like that. I see it as JT playing the games and for some reason, today, abandoning the running game (particularly last 7 minutes of 2nd quarter).

Wells had a huge quarter and ahlf in the final 30 minutes today.

I think Hypeman is a bit much but like said above, who else has blown away the competition.

I just want wins anyway screw the trophies for individuals.

Absolutely!!! Wouldn't be about time that the SID put together a package to pimp Laurinaitis for the Heisman? It would change the direction of the award away from it being the Hypeman Trophy going to the hot offensive player at the end of the year.
