Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

I predict the Wolverines will beat the Golden Flashes in the Big House today.

The Zips are not completely devoid of talent, hell they have played better teams than Ohio State to date and they have not completely embarrassed themselves, at least not as bad as the scores would indicate. KSU was able to stay with the high-powered Kentucky Wildcats for a half, taking the game into the third tied 14-14.

Noted and in the process of correction.
After a while all the Buckeyes non-conference MAC opponents blend together into a single pool of mediocrity. Hopefully the Buckeyes are a bit more attentive than I was.
It is hard to take anything in this game seriously when Kent's coach says that he is going to "rotate" extensively to stay healthy for the MAC season. Apparently he is as committed to this game as I am to correctly identifying his team.

Apparently the Buckeyes do not feel like making tackles today. I am seeing a lot of dives and throwing the shoulder instead of wrapping up.

I was surprised by that....with such a long history, the previous record for longest punt return in school history was 87 yards by Demel (sp).
