Notre Dame vs. Michigan

Two teams I hate to root for are up against each other today, both starting at 0-2. I am pulling for ND for obvious reasons. Who ya' got?

Ass whoopin.
How can Notre Dame possibly be this bad? With that name, the recruting power, every game on TV, 1st shot at every catholic or Irish kid not living on one of the coasts.
How can the talent level possibly be this low?
I hate Notre Dame as much as most around here, but a Notre Dame this bad is not good for college football.

31-0 at the half...Think Mike Golic is happy about the decision to send his son to play for Weiss? At this rate, Navy will be looking past Notre Dame in favor of their big game with North Texas the following week.

I disagree. I think it is great for college football. Perhaps it opens the door for less of them and more of teams like Rugers, USF App .St etc...
ND has worn thin on America.

I'm with Rich. I love to hate ND, and it's hard to do more than feel sorry for them right now. (Kinda like Steeler Fan's view of Browns Fan, incidentally.) When ND is on top, it makes it more fun to see them get beat. Only thing is, I don't know if they'll ever get close to the level they were circa the Tim Brown era.

Nov 17 the Irish play against lowly Duke.
Can't wait for the Blue Devils to win that one. It's a shame that Northwestern lost to them (and thus, ending their losing streak) tonight. Oh well .. it will still be a horrific loss for the once proud college.
