According to Mike Waters of the Post-Standard, Cleveland State assistant coach Jayson Gee is is among a handful of candidates for the vacant head coaching position at Kent State.

The other candidates are Syracuse assistant coach Rob Murphy, Kent State assistant coach Rob Senderoff, Xavier assistant coach Pat Kelsey, and Ohio State assistant coach Jeff Boals.
