Awesome my man.

For those that were around you'll be instantly taken back to that couple weeks.

For those that weren't it's a valuable piece of history.

During that season, Mouse McFadden was almost as big a Cleveland icon as Bernie, Omar or Mark ever were...

Knight's grimace growing during the final few minutes were priceless...

Thx again for the memories

I was nine. Remember Woodling Gym, games at Public Hall, my friends and I pretending we were the Mouse playing pickup games at school. And being a nine year old, I asked my dad why he was so surprised when they beat IU, I mean they only lost three times all year. The comeback against Navy, the no foul call, the no charge call against the Admiral. Alas, my first TCE.

Great piece. Great memories. I was 9 as well. Remember racing home from a city league basketball game that night to sit in my basement about 18 inches from the TV to watch this one.

A memory I will never forget. Remember to this day, even at a such a young age, how badly I wanted CSU to beat Navy that night.

Six months later was The Drive. Then the Fumble and the Shot. Amazing how clearly I remember all those games and where I was 25 years later.

Lots of great memories in that article.

I remember watching CSU and Franklin Edwards on either WVIZ or another local station in the late 90's/early 80's

I was a senior in HS during this run. My sister was an RA down at Viking Hall so I had run into most of the players w/ Shawn Hood and Clinton Ransey being the most social. Maintained a good relationship w/ Shawn while he was an assistant from 88-94.

Remember leaving school early to get home to catch the 2nd half of the Indiana game hoping for CSU to be competetive. Of course we got a lot more than that.

I remember the confidence I had before watching the St Joe's game, knowing there was no way CSU would lose.

The Navy game. That one hurt amlost as bad as the Browns collapse vs Miami in Jan. How Robinson was not called for a charge still baffles me. Sad part was CSU couldn't stop him when it mattered.

Good to see that some of the guys still have ties to the city, Hood as asst coach for the womens team. McFadden works for the County as Nutritional Specialist.
Galley Boys are slop on top of a so-so burger and a bun you coulde get from a Covneninet food mart generic pack. They the Antoine Joubert of burgers; soft, sloppy, oozing grease and cheap sauce and extremely overrated by a biased fan base. Proof that if you throw enough cheap sauce shit on a burger you still can't overcome the lame burger. -JB

The whole team pretty much was in attendance for the Butler game this year. Was pretty cool. Did a nice little thing for em at halftime. Place went nuts for Mouse. Clinton Ransey was sitting like 4 seats over from me.

Loved that team. They still show the Indiana game from time to time on ESPN Classic. Run and Stun.
