this is why you can't take womens basketball seriously. stuff like this happens all the time. i'm fairly certain, me, JB, bald peeker, herm, and CDT can take about 90% of the D1 womens bball teams. womens basketball is garbage. gaaah-bage. this is why nobody can even come close to Uconn. its Uconn, tennessee, and that other team with the freakish mammoth 7 footer.

No shot at beating a D1 women's team, none.

I play pickup basketball for cash alot.... and I can say other than inside the paint, I suck. I can dunk and block shots. That's about it. I dribble the ball like Ray Charles. Been working on a baseline turnaround J, on a good day i can hit it 30% of the time.

I'll say it again, when you take into consideration that they have zero size and little athleticism, it's about the best GD defensive display I've ever seen in that tournament.

I agree. 30 years of watching college hoops, I have never seen a better display of defense. Ever.

Been fun to watch. That was my kinda basketball game. Really enjoyed it. Big big ups to Butler for what they have done.

Took my 4.5 year old to the CSU/Butler game this year. Right down on the floor. Watching the game with him tonight, he says "Hey, we saw Butler play this year."

Man, I'd love to see them win the whole GD thing. Such an easy team to embrace. Stevens is gonna get a big time job though, they'll lose him like they lost Matta and Lickliter. He may resist this off-season, but someone is gonna pay up big time for that kid.

Ouch on Butler. Sheesh that doesn't look good. I want Huggy to lay a big lip lock on him there. Seriously though I'd want to do the same thing if one of my kids were laying there in agony. Hopefully it's nothing serious but didn't look right the way it bent.

I was watching Draymond Green scream at one of his teammates after he got beat on the baseline by Hayward and fouled. As the free throw is being shot he yells at I think Summers... "Help..... I help your dumb ass when you get beat".

yes, a very good game. too bad the officials are obviously dookie-favorers. way too many ticky-tack fouls called on howard and a terribly horrible call on the "charge" by hayward to take a butler hoop away. completely and utterly wrong, wrong, wrong. what a disgustingly vomitous call. they also gave scheyer a tip-in when the ball was still clearly in the cylinder when duke had put up an off-balance shot with just one second left on the shot clock. don't they realize that most people can't stand duke as they represent all the same things as the new york yankees and pittspuke steelers represent??? we love underdogs, not front-runners. come on, butler. don't pay any attention to those bastards. just play 5-on-8 and hopefully you can still perservere and win the game.

aw bullshit, that was a flagrant foul all the way. come on, clark kellogg. don't be a bob costas or a brent musburger and fawn all over the front-runner. hayward was pulled to the ground by his arm. i don't know how more obvious you can be. there was never any intention by thomas to go for that ball whatsoever. butler should have got 2 shots and possession of the ball. had the shoe been on the other foot and duke pretty boy kyle singler got pulled to the ground like that, you can bet your sweet ass they would have called a flagrant foul then.

Why would Coach K leave a job that he will NEVER get fired from and will most likely get to choose his next job at Duke when he decides he's done coaching? Over the last 20+ years, he's seen his collegues and peers make the jump to the NBA, get paid and get fired for not producing to (name team here) expectations. Is he going to have the same impact on players who are making just as much coin as he is as opposed to kids who choose to come play for him? Sure the pros play well for him during the World Championships and the Olympics, but will that translate to the regular season when egos and agents rear their ugly heads. The Guy stays at Duke, it's his best choice.
