It's friggin March!!! Every single player understands the meaning of it in college basketball...

Bring your A game or go home, pretty simple...

You played the regular season and now you're seeded in your tournament...If you're #1, then play like it when it counts...

If you're worried about stumbling in your tourney then your school should have been better prepared with their scheduling at the beginning of the season...Just ask the Atlantic 10 & Missouri Valley...get that RPI up and then you have a chance later...

If the regular season should mean so much then why do we have playoffs in any sport? Why do we have 6-8 divisions, wild cards, half the teams making it to the post-season? Do we want every sport to be like Div-1 football and the newspapers can tell us who's best?

We have a post-season because it draws interest (and $$$ natch), but it keeps the hopes of teams & fans high...

The conference tourneys show which team has momentum going into the greatest post-season in all of sports...Which is what you want

Agree. The first Michigan defender didn't run up to him until he just crossed the half court line. How they didn't have someone on his ass before the entry pass is beyond me. You've got to at least make it somewhat difficult to advance the ball, dontcha? Is Dick Rod moonlighting as a BB coach?

I've been saying it all year, Turner is the best baller in the NCAA. John Wall can't hold a candle to Turner's game. There's no basketball player in the world i'd rather watch nigh in night out. And this kid broke his fucking back. He's the man and he'd look great in a Cavs uni.

If the Bucks win the Big 10 tournament, they have to be a 1 seed. even over Duke.

I think they're poised to make a deep run. They do lack depth but they have the best player in the country and a pretty good coach.

i'm startin to convince myself that the Bucks actually do have a good shot at the final four. with the size and versatility of our guards, we create match up problems for just about everyone else. and i don't see any really dominating big men this year (except Cousins), so our weakness may not be exploited. i think the Bucks have a chance to make some serious noise, and i'm beginning to show symptoms of the march madness

All boils down to matchups IMO. The depth issue can be fatal if they get in foul trouble and either a huge post presence or a really athletic team that gets upo and down can take advantage of that weakness.

And it is a consideration.

Another key is Diebler. If he hits shots they're a real tough out because he can shrink a lead or build ya one. But a 2-13 game from him will be difficult to overcome.

They have the Nat'l Player of the Year, a big man with some rebounding skills, an athletic sophomore who's getting better in Buford, a lights out 3 pt shooter when he's on and a lockdown defender in Lighty who can make a day miserable for any scorer 6'7" and under.

Madsen will need to have a couple games like he had yesterday too because his contributions and his size could be crucial.

In a season where there is a lot of parity and all the big boys have some flaws they could really make some noise. The NCAA Tourney schedule helps them too with a day off between rounds and then almost a full week of time off. Much better than the potential three games in three days grind of the conference tourney.

Yeah, I would say so. Duke lacks a good road win. OSU has one against California. But, OSU also has those bad losses in the B10. I know Turner was out, but that Michigan loss and the UNC loss hurts their RPI quite a bit.
