And Shipley has to catch that. The WR's have not helped this kid out at all.

Different numbers but same end result IMHO.
Texas D would have made it real interesting though. Hats off to those kids.

What you are doing is assigning the description "JT" to being ultra conservative or to a player fuckup, thereby robbing the dude of any credit when he is NOT conservative....get it?
It's shallow and incorrect.
Truth.

Yeah, pressure does some goofy things.
With McCoy in there at a minimum, it forces some issues.

Truth.
You've been doing this for over a year plus in this forum.
Truth is JT did go ultra conservative in that game with way too many predictable runs on short short yardage situations. Every time a play doesn't work it is NOT due to lack of player execution. JT struggled to put his players in the best to succeed late in that game.
...and are you seriously comparing the JT in the Rose Bowl to our game v Iowa? We were winning the Iowa game 24-10 with 10 minutes left in the game. TP threw 17 total passes in that game (completed 14 of them).
OSU Drive in the 4Q with 10 minutes left.
Ohio State at 10:58 IOWA OSU
1st and 10 at OSU 40 IOWA penalty 15 yard Personal Foul accepted. 17 24
1st and 10 at IOWA 45 Daniel Herron rush for no gain to the Iowa 45.
2nd and 10 at IOWA 45 Daniel Herron rush for 8 yards to the Iowa 37.
3rd and 2 at IOWA 37 Daniel Herron rush for 8 yards to the Iowa 29 for a 1ST down.
1st and 10 at IOWA 29 Daniel Herron rush for a loss of 1 yard to the Iowa 30.
2nd and 11 at IOWA 30 Daniel Herron rush for 3 yards to the Iowa 27.
3rd and 8 at IOWA 27 Daniel Herron rush for a loss of 3 yards to the Iowa 30.
4th and 11 at IOWA 30 Devin Barclay 47 yard field goal MISSED.
Meanwhile TP was throwing from the get go in the Rose Bowl ending up 23 of 30freakin7. Apples to freakin carbon monoxide. If your looking for praise of JT in the Rose Bowl I suggest you revisit the Rose Bowl thread. Otherwise take something, anything for your sensitivity issues.
For fucks sake.
