Hard to say. If Bama uses the same gameplan they're using now, then yes I think Texas wins.

But I think Bama plays it less conservatively if McCoy is playing.

Bama able to play an extrememly comfortable game, and even though it seemed to give UT a chance at the end, that was the absolute worse case scenario - and it was still a longshot.

In the end, the firsrt year starin' Alabama QB didn't have to make a significant play all night, and we all knew the result if that were the case.

Agree. Still wondering how you can get all the way to the NC game without being able to run the ball effectively. (rhetorical). Putting Gilbert in that situation was a recipe for disaster without some semblence of a running game to take the pressure off. Bama is tough against the run no doubt, but to completely ignore the run game shows the Horns never had any confidence in the first place. I mean, how does this happen if you can recruit and sign essentially any kid you want in the state?
