Pryor with a knee injury

Unread postby fundamentals » Mon Dec 28, 2009 7:09 pm

Does this answer some questions as to why the Buckeyes' QB was limited in what was being done offensively?

"It's all about winning for me, and I think the Cavs are committed to doing that," he said. "But at the same time I've given myself options to this point, and like I said before, me and my team, we have a game plan that we're going to execute, and we'll see what we get."

"We had a great time together."

Not sure how the knee caused him to consistently throw low and behind receivers this season, but if you are selling I am buying!

What I saw after watching recordings was that Pryor is still very unrefined mechanically and does not throw well from the pocket. He is very inaccurate. He makes pretty good decisions, and his receivers are almost always open, he just misses them. In order for him to have the same kind of jump that Troy Smith had from 04 to 05 he is going to have to throw the ball more and Jim Tressel is going to have to be OK with the risks and results.
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.
