Impressive showing for the Big Ten.

Ohio State handles Oregon. Penn State beats LSU. Iowa takes care of the ACC champs. Wisconsin takes Miami Fla out behind the woodshed. Northwestern takes Auburn to OT as a 9 point dog before losing on a failed fake FG.

Michigan State went toe to toe with TTech as a 8 point dog. Minnesota, well, Minnesota doesn't count, do they? (they shoulda won too)

Couple bounces of the ball away from a 7-0 bowl season. 5-2 ATS. Only two loser ATS were Minnesotas choke job and TTech going for it on 4th down up 4 with a min left and scoring.

No other BCS conference had all of it's top four teams win their bowl games.

Great bowl season for the Big Ten, that close to going unbeaten. Should help the perception next year, which will help with the votes.

I will never bet on triple-option teams again. I parlayed Navy with the over and got fucked on that too.

triple option is a bitch during the regular season when you only have a week to get ready. Good teams will do much better against the triple O given six weeks to get ready. I would almost always bet against a team with the trip O if they are up against a team with the talent to stop them and the time to prepare. Iowa played the trip O perfectly, they took away the dive and made GaTech try to push it out and beat them with the option on the edge. Iowa played disciplined stout defense and stopped the GaTech ground game cold.
