Fresno under Pat Hill ... fare good as dogs, OK as small favorites ... anytime you ever see em laying more than a TD, fade em. Add in the fact that the Cowboys (2nd bowl game in like 15 years) are much happier to be in this dog shit bowl ... and it all adds up to a 3 point Fresno win or Wyoming shocker.

You can just tell that some teams are happier to be there and work harder, so after year's of getting burnt by the irrational emotions of 19 year old kids, I am going to start capitalizing on it. Honestly, it may actually be the single most important factor in these games. BYU, WY, and MTSU just played harder and were more engaged than their more talented counterparts.

Going with upset today: SMU +12.5, I think I like them to win outright. Nevada is without their two leading rushers leaving them a running quarterback and a bunch of question marks. I also think that this bowl is a bigger deal for Jones and the Ponies than for the Wolfpack, and as I previously mentioned, I think that is probably one of the biggest factors in handicapping these early bowls.

TCU has had a great season, and I think they win their bowl game, but from 1 win to 7 wins and administering an absolute beat down in a bowl game. Freshman QB, running the run & shoot to perfection. That's coaching. Gotta be in the conversation, right?

My gut is screaming Wisconsin today, so I have completely reversed my position on that game. They just seem to show up for bowl games and I think they are underrated, only losing to OSU, IOWA, and NW.

This is going to be tough on The U if Wisky comes out and scores to open the half. Miami can't seem to sustain a drive so they need to regroup in the locker room.

17 catches, 219yards and 3TDS for the new single season reception holder in FBS.

Bad ref call (trap) and now a bad decision. Take OT at "home".

Watching the second half of that game. Gotta start wondering if the Arizona QB has spent an entire season pi$$ing off his offensive line and today is payback day. Those dudes are just laying down in "pocket protection."NEOLeo wrote:Bo Pelini has Nebraska looking good in the Youngstown Bowl against Mike Stoops and Arizona.
23-0 and driving in the 3rd. The defense is great as always and now the "plays that we want to work on for next year" are working for the offense and they look explosive and creative.
Am I the only one that thinks Pelini takes Nebraska back to the top in the near future?
