The Lamovsky Championship Tournament

Decided to see what this would look like, did a bit of my own spin on it, but decided that Herm deserves the naming rights to this system of determing a Nat'l Championship. Always was wondering if these matchups would look like and there are quite a few gems.


Sugar Bowl Bracket
(Winners of these two games will meet at the Superdome, January 1st on ABC/ESPN)

1.) Alabama Crimson Tide Vs. 4.) Troy State Trojans
(Game played at Bryant-Denny Stadium)
Date: Saturday December 19, 3:15 PM
TV: CBS, Craig Bolerjack/Steve Beuerlein

2.) THE Ohio State Buckeyes Vs. 3.) Virginia Tech Hokies
(Game played on the banks of the Olentangy River in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Ohio Stadium)
Date: Saturday, December 19, 4:15 PM
TV: ESPN, Mike Patrick, Craig James, and Heather Cox


Orange Bowl Bracket
(Winner of these two games will meet at Landshark Stadium, January 2nd on NBC)

1.) Cincinati Bearcats Vs. 4.) Central Michigan Chippewas
(Game played at Nippert Stadium)

2.) Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Vs. 3.) Florida Gators

Cotton Bowl Bracket
(Winner of these two games will meet at Cowboys Stadium, January 1st on CBS)

1.) Texas Longhorns Vs. East Carolina Pirates
(Game played at Darrell K. Royal Stadium)

2.) Boise State Broncos Vs. 3.) Iowa Hawkeyes
(Game played at Bronco Stadium)
Date: Friday, December 18, 9:00 PM
TV: ESPN, Mark Jones and Bob Davie


Fiesta Bowl Bracket
(Winner of these two games will meet at University of Phoenix Stadium on December 31st on FOX)

1.) Texas Christian Horned Frogs Vs. 4.) Nebraska Cornhuskers
(Game played at Amon Carter Stadium)
Date: Thursday, December 17, 8:30 PM
TV: ESPN, Brad Nessler, Todd Blackledge and Erin Andrews

2.) Oregon Ducks Vs. Brigham Young Cougars
(Game played at Autzen Stadium)
Date: Saturday, December 18, 8:00 PM
TV: ESPN, Brent Musburger, Kirk Herbstreit and Lisa Salters

The Final Four and The Championship game will all be played at the Rose Bowl (The site rotates every year) and will be on ABC.

I'll try and either simulate these all on "What if Sports" and/or NCAA Football to give a computer feel of what the National Champion should be.
