Damn, they make it sound like he was a decent coach or something.

Guy's career, especially following JT was the definition of meh.

I'm surprised by this, not that he's done, but that he resigned. He was likely to be fired tomorrow anyhow so who knows...maybe he was doing his buddy Strollo a favor by not having to can him.

I know there is already a "wish list" of replacements being thrown around so I'll have at it too

1) Larry Kehres-coach is John Wooden of D3, I don't think he'll leave Mt for YSU though, but he would rejuvinate the program quickly I believe,

2) Everyone else

Actually Pat Narduzzi at MIchigan St was pretty high on my list about a year ago, but not so much right now, same goes for Mark Stoops. I'll lose my mind (hell I watched the Browns today I already did) if I hear Nick Sicliano's name in the mix, although I can see the long arm of JT all over that one.

Is he related to Lenny Strollo? Resignation was an offer he couldn't refuse?

Say what you willl, but Heacock , and his staff, worked c-h-e-a-p. Can they afford better?

Nice work JB, but no relation that I'm aware of...although it's Ytown and these things do happen.

You are also correct about Heacock and Company working on the cheap. Although as Thomas Jefferson once warned us, you should never buy anything that you don't need just because it is cheap. Evidently that axiom not only fails my wife on the weekly Wal Mart binge, but also YSU in their coaching pursuits.
