Kent State

I got to see the Kent State vs. Akron game at KSU on Sunday night. After a brutal start offensively, Kent crawled back into the game and forced it into OT. The game was very physical. Then, trailing by 3 pts, they hit a 3-pointer to tie it up again with 10 seconds left. But Akron scored on a nifty pass and lay up at the buzzer. Great game!

The MAC normally only gets one team in the NCAA tournament so this all but guarantees that Kent State will need to win the MAC tourney to advance. I believe Toledo is to be the #1 seed, Akron #2, and Kent #3.

LeBron was there front and center cheering on Akron by the way. I heard that 3 other Cavs were there but did not see them, Snow, Marshall and Wesley.
