Dook at Carolina
Always fun to watch, although Dickie V's constant slurping of all things Dook and Coach K is enough to ruin the broadcast.
The game is in Chapel Hill, so we don't have to see those Cameron Idiots jumping up and down as they worship reDick and ugly Sheldon.
The matchup to watch is Williams vs the frosh Hansbrough.
Unfortunately Dook wins, but the young Heels keep it close.

Carolina will win if they keep the turnovers to a minimum. Dook should not get the homey calls tonight.

I hope so mswerb. I problem with Carolina and turnovers is that Roy Williams loves to run. His teams are up-tempo and get up and down the court. That philosophy is fine when you have a veteran team, like they did last year. This year, however, they have had a ton of turnovers because they are playing young, inexperienced players.
Should be a good game tho. Its always an emotional battle between these two.

Shiiiit ... my boys will still get all the calls.
Dookie V in surround sound callin a Blue Devils game. Does it get any better than that?

Things better than Dorkie V calling this game in surround:
1. Sliding down a slide of razor blades, into a pool of alcohol
2. Falling off the top of a building and getting your dick caught on a nail.
3. Watching this game, MUTED.

If two planes, one carrying the Duke Blue Devils and one carrying the North Carolina Tarheels, are traveling towards each other with an air speed of 550 knots and colide head on should anyone in Ohio care?
Only if the debris lands in Ann Arbor.

LOL Furls ...
Hour forty till tip. Hopefully this years games are as entertaining as last years games, both thrillers that went down to the buzzer, with both teams taking care of bidness on their home floor.
Dukies have taken 15 of the last 18 in this series. 15 of 18 ... amazing.
Hansborough and Terry get exposed tonight by big Shelden. And who the hell is gonna chase JJ around? Noel?
Duke will be a different team once DeMarcus gets back into the fold fully. Good to see him play 27 solid minutes in the big win over the Seminoles this weekend.
Dukies 86 UNC 74

UNC just isn't ready to compete with the Dookies.
I'm going to have to become a Dook fan in a couple years because the junior SF/PF that plays for the school I teach for has already committed to play there. That team is going to be stacked for a good while.
Duke - 79
UNC - 64

The little white boy Wes Miller will put the clamps on your boy ReDick, Swerb.
If he can't, look for Marcus Ginyard to step up on D.
As for Sheldon Williams (I call him 5 head, due to the size of his mellon) look for him to have an off night.

40-35 Dook at the half.
Typical game for these two. Emotional. Physical. Ugly at times.
Both teams have been hurt by turnovers. Carolina looks helter skelter on offense, and that has hurt them.
Very impressed by UNC's interior defense. Williams has gotten nothing easy. Hansbrough plays strong.
Dockery was hot late in the half with back to back threes.
Should be interesting to see what each coach comes up with in the second half.

Jesus H, Duke should be up by about 20 if they would just stop turning the ball over.
Carolina is moving the ball well but shooting terribly. This just isn't a very good Carolina team this year IMO. This is only the 2nd time Ive seen them play this season, and my initial thought is that Roy Williams must be doing a helluva job to have these kids at 14-5 and #23 in the country ... even with the big frosh Hansborough.

Thats about as nice as you'll see. Just give me a Duke win tonight and I'll gladly kiss a little Carolina arse.
Big second half coming from Shelden ...

Another great game between UNC and Duke. Redick killed them in the end. (Although his two blunders at the end could have cost the Devils)
Carolina had a great comeback, but was too green in the end. They will be a team to be reckoned with in the coming years. Just impossible to to replace the guys they lost from the championship team.
Question: on that last possession, when Redick lost the ball and the UNC player tried to save it...did UNC have a timeout? Couldn't he have called a TO there?

Lebowski, No, Carolina had no timeouts left. I don't think they had possesion in order to call a TO anyway.

JJ Freaking Redick. Just another huge, big time, clutch performance.
I'm starting to think Colangelos gotta take this kid for the US Olympic team.
