There's few things in life that give me more pleasure than seeing the University of North Carolina lose in men's basketball. Imagine my elation when the Buckeyes get a chance to do it.
Can't wait for this game tonight.
The Tar Heels are deep, athletic, and big. They go 12 deep, they are coached by Roy Williams ... so you know they're gonna run all day on you and bring guys at you in waves. They've got two beasts down low in Hansbrough and the frosh Brandan Wright.
Big onus on Lighty, Terwilliger, and Hunter to keep those two in check tonight. Buckeyes have to hit their outside shots and not turn the ball over.
Should be a fun one tonight.

Only one thing is better for me, seeing Puke lose
Is Dukey V, that clown, doing the game tonight?

This sounds so stupid (and Mark Mayesque) that I feel stupid typing it, but I must say it.
If the Buckeyes shoot well tonight, then they have a fighting shot. If they do not, then they don't. Only way I can see them not shooting well from the perimeter and still staying in the game is if they can get the NC big men to pick up some early fouls.

The impression I get from Matta is that his young guns have exceeded his own expectations to this point. The guy has been smiling from ear to ear since practice began this season.
I don't think the hype or the atmoshpere will bother them one bit. I think we'll see a loose and confident bunch of Buckeyes tonight. It's tough to predict a win, but damn it's gonna be exciting!

Helluva game! A lot less gut wrenching than a Dook/Carolina game. My boys look good. Ellington is a hot shooter, reminds me of Donald Williams.
