Liriano To Go Under The Knife

Unread postby swerb » Sat Nov 04, 2006 12:15 pm

Part of me feels bad for this kid, and is a little upset I don't get to see more of him next year. He had electric stuff and was a joy to watch pitch.

And part of me likes the fact that this badly hurts a division foe. Radke is likely to retire as well. Which leaves the Twins with Santana and a bunch of rookies (Bonser, Garza, et al) and Silva ... who is a stiff.

They still have a lot of talented arms in their pen. It will be interesting to see if they are a player for any of the FA SPs. They need to do something behind Johan.

Makes me feel a helluva lot better bout CC, Lee, Sowers, Jake, and Byrd.

Except for the part of feeling bad. Screw the Twins.

Santana, Silva, Garza, Baker, Bonser

that rotation wont get you anywhere

and they havent the money to sign a decent starter
