On this date in 2005, Coco Crisp was .283/.347/.428 with 3 HR and 11 RBI and 24 runs scored.
On this date in 2006, Michaels is .271/.332/.350 with 1 HR and 14 RBI and 23 runs scored.

Now Coco went on to get better throughout the year, and Michaels probably won't, but hardly is this a huge reason for the Tribes slow start.

Michaels is way down the list as far as issues with this team goes. His defense and base-running is a lot less than I thought it would be....but offensively he is about what I thought. More OBP than Crisp, but less speed and power. I still take Crisp if I have the choice.....but Michaels is hardly a significant downgrade. Very minor. Worth the trade to try and obtain a highly touted prospect.
