Is there any update on the condition of his elbow? Is there any chance he will be able to play first base this year? I know he is not the best defensive player in the league, but it might allow the Indians to pursue a right handed bat to fill the DH spot.

The Indians have said they don't want him to play 1B except for roughly 30 games next year (half of those starts are interleague). The elbow is fine supposedly, but they don't want to risk him hurting it again (throwing supposedly aggitates it).
