question about Jacobs Field

Unread postby intenso » Sun Jul 15, 2007 10:00 pm

can you take bottled water in? I know it says on the website that you can't, but I'm just wondering how seriously that's taken.

Since they sell it, I assume they take it pretty seriously. Would be like bringing in a bottle of pop.

For some reason, I thought as long as it's sealed, you're ok. I could be wrong though.

I really doubt they will let you take it in. You can't bring bottles of any fluids on any planes or into any stadiums anymore.

You can bring sealed plastic bottles into Tropicana Field for Rays games. You can also bring in food as long as it's in a soft cooler that can fit under your seat. The only limitation is on alcoholic beverages.

I once tried to bring a 12-pack of warm Natty Lights into the park around the waistband of my pants while still in college with a buddy who had 6 pops around his.
My 32 waist looked like a 54.

When one of them dropped out one of the legs of my shorts, I was busted and they were confiscated...though I was allowed to enter the park.

Not sure what this has to do with a sealed bottle water being brought into the Jake, but it makes me smile about the stupid things I used to do to get drunk while spending as little money as possible.

You'' have 3 choices.

1. Take it back to the car
2. Throw it out.
3. Drink it on the spot.

Once saw a security guy pick a twelver of pop out of the garbage can after they made a couple throw it away. That was made me feel good....

Yeah, in Kansas City it's the same thing. On the Indians website it says you can bring soft coolers with food and juice boxes.

intenso, the brown mustard. The best stadium mustard on the planet.

The "Beers Of The World" stand, and anything with the brown mustard.

And you're safe.

But your bedmate won't be later that night. Read Hiko's "Moot Points" column from last week. :o :-o

From my knowledge this is correct.

I have not had a problem bringing in McDonald's cups in the past, (filled with pop or beer) but I have not been to a game this year and maybe not even last year.

WOW that pisses me off now that I think about it.

Solution to all those problems below.

I am getting one for Xmas I was told.

For as lazy as they are in the checking of bags you can probably get in whatever you can fit in the bottom of a bag, lol. Most of the time they take about .2 seconds to check bags/purses. I've taken in bottles of pop, water and bags of candy.

My wife has tried the "I have diabetes" line a couple times out here in Cali and it has worked.

Something to consider.
