I'll buy Stanford.

Fultzis only Ok if the bases are not loaded. How many runs has he walked in this season? 5? 6?

After that Pudge foul, I need a new pair of boxers.

I'm not even kidding. Why am I telling you this?

The pennant race is officially under way. There is nothing like a pennant race. Wow, what a game tonight. For the first time this season I'm nervous as hell watching these games. That's how big this series is, and how big they'll be from here on out even though there are 80 games left.

Man, how Mastny escaped that mess without giving up a run is beyond me.

By the way, Detroit has to be about out of pitchers, no?

We haven't lost yet, but if I am a betting man, this is a good time to throw the bank on Det.

One good decision erased by a bad one. Mastny is the worst reliever we have, easily.

I'll have none of that talk!!!

I haven't said anything and keep my thoughts to myself for most of the season.....but I am starting to get a good feeling about this year for the Indians. I'm becoming a believer that this is may be our year. Teams that play like this, win these kind of games night in and night out go deep in the postseason and many win the whole thing.. :o :-o

Yep this really had that playoff intensity. Casey is the man tonight. Heckuva job by the pen.

It's gotta suck for the Tigers to blow that bases-loaded situation. Now they're 3 back, with no chance to catch us in this series.

Way to go Tribe! (clap) (clap) (clap)

heck of a win tonight

great job by the bullpen, even though Mastny makes me nervous as heck and i almost pissed my pants

Casey Blake with a big bomb and we take a 3 game lead... HUGE WIN !!!!!

i want a sweep out of this series, but i would be really happy with 2 out of 3

LETS GO TRIBE !

Rewatching the highlights, I noticed something about Benny F, he swung the bat and ran the bases like he EXPECTED to be succesful.

There is arrogance and there is confidence. Those are 2 different things. Right now this kid is oozing confidence and making the most of the opportunities that Wedge is giving him.

Shapiro and the FO has some tough choices to make going forward.

Wedge did the best he could to NOT go off about the "nit picking" in the press conference. I was on him early, he is starting to hit the right buttons . . .GREAT WIN!

Besides,
I thought only softball players whined about the amount of time a pitcher held the ball or whether or not the batter is in the box

The Tigers HAVE to be wondering what in the hell they need to do to beat this team.

You guys couldn't even wait until the break to start tempting Jobu? As if the Cavs series wasn't enough. Shit, when will we learn? Better start some type of anti-hex thing pretty quick.
