Apparently, Detroit worries about us, too

I was lurking around the Motown Sports forums, and they seem to be just as worried about us as we are about them,

This thread is going to end up driving people insane. It should be locked for their safety.

I just like that reply a whole lot ^.

I was reading some of those posts, and it seems like they think everything is falling in our laps and we can do no wrong, while they are catching all the bad breaks, etc.

When in reality, our offense has yet to "click" cough, Hafner, cough, and we concieveably haven't played our best ball yet.

Also, they went 9-1 on this past road trip and are still tied for the division lead.

I don't know, but when our offense starts to show our true colors and if our bullpen can solidify, we should have a solid shot at the division crown.

Reading the forums for fans of other teams are amusing, if only because it validates my opinion that fans everywhere have the same basic complaints. My favorite, of course, is "Our team can't hit against pitchers it's never seen before."

Grady and Haf haven't even started their best. We've seen hints and glints of their best, but it hasn't been sustained. Detroit is good, and right now we're good, but we should get better. If they think they are catching all the bad breaks they jus can't think up a better excuse.

That's so cool that they have Indians watch, at least they are admitting that we are a threat, that shows a great team of fans. Detroit is cool, as long as we are a head of them. You know you have great opponets when they can appretiate your team. Maybe we should start a tigers watch.

luvsgrady-I am on Tigers watch all.the.time. I live here it is hard to get away...

Once the Tigers pen comes back (well if it does) I am nervous. Ordóñez is kicking ass and totally taking names.

The series next week should be more important than the one in May.

I check their team page all the time to see how they are doing, I just thought it would be fun. Maybe you could start the watch on here. I'm just confused are you in Cleveland or Detroit...?

Mags can't keep this up all season. It would just be unrealistic.

As for the bullpen, Zumaya might not even back this season. I wonder if it's the Guitar Hero injury from last years ALCS-
