That cat better be ready to cut some throws and throw behind folks.

How do you suppose his bunt coverage is?

How long before Chiz is moved back because Carlos has "Peralta range"?

That line-up doesn't take the DH into account. I'd hope Santana is in that role more often than not.

That's 24. I think Cowboy and little CC both make the team which would give us 25. Bourne takes over for Nyger. Giambi for ??? I guess things work themselves out sometimes.

Carlos Santana should start 120 games at 3B. By far the best option to play there, even if he is a butcher. Because the alternative is a butcher who can't hit.

List of defensive runs above average among SS from 2008-13: http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?p ... &players=0

Jhonny Peralta is 6th out of 19. Take a look at who is last.

That was the point. Carrasco doesn't have an option. If he makes it, both Atchison and Wood make the team. If he doesn't, Tomlin and Carrasco with one of Atchison/Wood.

Just found out Tomlin has 2 options. So in the easiest prediction ever, Cowboy goes down to stay stretched out and littleCC Atch and Wood make the club.

After looking at it I think they make a deal with Lonnie for SP'ing, especially with 3 other guys on the bench who can play 3B.

Carrasco in rotation. We'll see how long he sticks. Definitely have to take it easy with Tomlin and he has the option left. Atchison and Wood both in. Salazar starts the Home Opener.

Between Brantley in CF and that left side of the infield, our defense is going to blow to start the season.
