10 games against Detriot and Boston

You know, after this 10 game stretch where we play the Tigers seven times and the Red Sox three times....we should have a pretty good idea of where this team stands. I'd be happy with a 5-5 split in these 10 games, but I think a 6-4 or 7-3 mark would send a HUGE message to the league and fans that the Indians are for real.

So, as a fan, I'll be okay with 5-5....but I am hoping for better.

Heck, with our two best pitchers going tonight and tomorrow, wouldn't it be great to leave Detroit with a sweep? I know, I know, getting ahead of myself. I'd like a split in these last two with Detroit....win 2 of 3 with Boston, and then split the 4 game homestand.....that would put us at 6-4 in the 10 gamer.

Last night was the key game, and the biggest win of the season IMO. Michaels catch, to this point, was the biggest play of the year.

Now, with our best two pitchers set to toe the mound Sat and Sun, the Tribe just has to take one of the two to win the series, send an early message, and build a little momentum heading off to Boston.

Forget about Sunday, we couldn't beat Mike Maroth if we were Elijah Dukes and he was our wife :cry

But Maroth isn't facing the same Indians team he faced two years ago... I'm not sure if he even faced us last year due to his injuries.

We can and we will be able to get the key hits off Maroth.

Man, what a nice win today. And Looch comes up big for once. We won the series....let's go get the sweep on Sunday. Definitely making a statement this weekend.

I would love to complete the sweep, another lefty to beat though. Would love to have it especially with this game on ESPN, they love to hate on us. Yankees and Red Sox all day for them.

I am not getting my hopes up about a sweep tonight-although we are bringing our blow up brooms to the game tonight. I just hope our offense stays hot, defense is spot on and Carmona pitches a gem. Not to much to ask for right?!?

Hopefully the baseball Gods will smile upon us and then we can take atleast 2 out of 3 from the Bo Sox.

However, it is nice to stick it to Detroit fans who have been riding me all week about the CAVS.

I doubt they hate us. They focus on NY & Boston because that's where the ratings are at.

They do ignore the midwest and the Indians. It's just fly-over country to the suits at ESPN.

With Carmona going for the Tribe, it's even money they can beat the Tigers.
