T, I thought you were good after you got the motor running. Once you guys started talking Indians.

Tony Lastoria was on with Bruce.

(I actually have no idea if he's a mook, I don't get STO.)

Who is "T" and when was he on?

I try to catch that show whenever possible but I missed it today.

Dunno if it's just me or not, but I enjoy Drennan a TON more on the tube than I did when he was on Cleveland radio back in the day.

Man, Drennan totally threw a curveball at me.

I was all set to talk about the the minoir league column and how I got started with it....and right out of the box he starts asking how THE SITE got started and WHAT IS PLANNED FOR STO. I was like, wha?

My wife was there and she said that she could tell once we started talking Tribe I hit my comfort zone. It was very obvious I was VERY nervous (I was sweating bullets). They literally just throw you on the air, so there was no gameplan going in other than the show producer asked for the article beforehand and wanted me to give him stuff to have Bruce ask being it my first time.

Oh well, I'm glad to flush that one out of my system. What happened is exactly why I told NO ONE. Popped the cherry, and it feels so much better. Next time I think I will be way more comfortale (and hopefully Bruce follows the script). :P :-P

I see that STO has a special on Kelly Pavlik this morning at 4. I'll have to record that as well.

Glad this thread has informed me so much. I really need to keep up on STO programming more, because it really looks like they are doing a kick-ass job.

I haven't watched it yet, but from what I could see on the monitor in studio....yeah, it added 50 pounds.

It wasn't much, as I didn't get a chance to really talk much about about what I wanted to. I mean, he asked me a freaking Cavs question. All good, but I don't really have any insight into the Cavs anymore than Joe Fan....but I do believe I am pretty knowledgeable with baseball, especially the minors.

And yeah, I'll be on from time to time. Think I may go on again in two weeks, maybe three weeks. Probably a once a month or twice a month thing possibly. There may even be potential for other things down the road, but we'll see.

Nice.
I saw that Swerb posted that you were going to be on at 4:40 as I sat at work, not able to get away to catch it.

Next time, give us a little heads up now that the cherry's popped so we can see the wit and wisdom.

I'll be letting everyone know in advance next time as now I feel much more comfortable with it.

Finally watched it this morning.....it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. Once we started talking Tribe, I did okay. Wish he would have talked prospects with me though, as that is what I was there for I thought.

And I am sure you'll see more ClevelandFan.com personalities on the show as we go on.....and potentially other things on STO as well.

One of the funniest parts was when Drennan took a shot at Mitch.

Drennan mentioned he's be doing some movie reviews on his STO blog.

Tony, the loyal Cleveland Fan devotee, said "Yeah, we have a guy Mitch Cyrus that does a great job doing movie reviews."

Drennan: "Oh come on. He's not as good as me. Ask him who won Best Picture in 1950."

That was cool of you to give shout outs to Buff, Hnat, and Mitch though ...

Thanks Ponn.

Actually just talked to some STO guys today....they want to get me back on there as they feel the interview didn't go the way it should have (IOW, should have been strictly Indians and minor leagues).

And yeah, I had so much racing through my mind...but one thing I really wanted to do was promote the B-List, the Good/Bad/Summary, and other things. Wish I could have collected my thoughts to mention more features with our site and the STO site, but as I mentioned before, he caught me by complete surprise with that question so wasn't prepared to answer it.

Yo Tony,

I just finally watched your segment, and I thought you did pretty damn good, and a hell of a lot better than I would have in that format. I get the feeling that Drennan/STO didn't give you a list of questions before the segment, which probably would have been helpful (and which I'm sure networks like ESPN do with their employees).

Still, you did us proud, and Drennan looks like he has some excitement for the STO project.

Hey, thanks. Definitely a learning experience! And yeah, Drennan didn't follow script as me and the producer had talked in advance what would be talked about, and the producer gave Drennan the outline......and Drennan never asked one single question we had gone over beforehand. :roll  Oh well. I'll be back on soon, possibly as soon as next week (some of the STO brass want to get me back on right away to talk about what they wanted me to talk about on there: minor league baseball).
