Chisenhall sent to Triple-A. Huff recalled. Bauer's the 26th man today. Have to figure Huff's the demotion when Pestano is ready in a couple of days.

Going with a 3-man bench again then it would seem.

Not sure I like it when one of those guys is a full-time DH and another is your back-up catcher.

No doubt Lonnie didn't deserve to be getting ML at bats right now but, it's a bit of gamble if you ask me.

So glad Reynolds appears to be a nice option at third.

Wonder if they'll keep 3 catchers when Marson is ready?

I know they like Santana's bat at C, but Gomes is just fine behind the plate right now.

While I am still surprised that they sent him down this is one reason why I have more faith in this team than in prior years.

Gomes is a 1B/3B/C, though we've never seen him at either corner. I imagine Francona's comfortable throwing him out there in an emergency. If he isn't, we'll see a move for Phelps very soon. Though, let's be honest, he can't field.

Huff doesn't have options and he can elect free agency. He wouldn't be a loss if DFA'd, but the Indians probably won't want to just let him go for nothing.

I like that Gomes is going to catch Bauer in the second game.

Do the catchers get told what pitches to call, from the dugout?

Santana seems to look over there a lot. I imagine that they each call their own game, but I don't know for sure.

I've never seen Kipnis hit a ball that far. Wow.

I think the criticism stemmed from Bourn's reaction. He's usually not that animated.

22 pitch inning for Phelps, a guy who has relieved and started this year. Masterson pounded the zone and was highly efficient. Could be a big development with a doubleheader.

Masterson not sharp from the stretch. Can't find his release point.

This Phelps guy is irritating. Junk baller topping at 90. These are the guys that the Indians can't hit. Took them three times through to figure out AJ Griffin, and even then, it was just two solo HRs.

Hisashi Iwakuma's going to carve them up in next Monday's getaway day game.

Heck of an at bat from Bourn there. If Kipnis can find a gap against Logan that would be delightful.

I'd use Hill. Cano-Hafner-Boesch, which would become Cano-Hafner-Wells against Hill.

Masterson was touching 96 last inning, but, I wouldn't want to chance it.

It's Masterson though.
