Why Do Nixon and Dellucci Keep Facing Lefties?

I like both these guys and am happy they're on the club, but I don't see why Wedge insists on using them against lefties. It drives me insane actually, makes me want to throw things at my laptop, etc. Look at their #s this year:

Trot Nixon against LHP:
32 AB 7 H 7 RBI 4 BB 9 K .219 BA .297 OBP .250 SLG

Dave Dellucci against LHP:
19 AB 3 H 0 RBI 1 BB 6 K .158 BA .200 OBP .263 SLG

Ugh. Now that Marte's back, let's hope we don't have to see any more of this. At all. Ever.

What's the alternative?

Rouse playing instead of one of them? Gutierrez?

I'm fine with Nixon playing over any of those guys against lefties......but Dellucci should not be playing against lefties.

Now with Marte back, I am sure you'll see him mostly in there against lefties and Blake in the OF.

Understood. But if we get to the end of the season and these guys have 200+ at bats against lefties, I'm gonna be one unhappy dude.
