That'd be amazing, usually getting one out of the infield is a chore for him.

You sure you heard that right?

I bet it was really "Ramon Vazquez cleaned up his yard twice tonight."

He actually only went deep once tonight. But to be fair, everyone else on the Rangers roster went deep twice, so he's still slacking. But he actually went deep in the first game of the Rangers series on the 18th.

Here's the funny part though. According to the Dallas Morning News, he's going to be DFA'd tomorrow. So he got called up on the 18th, goes 6 for 8 with 2 HR's, and then gets cut. Hilarious.

And he thought we treated him bad here...

He'll probably get to stay since Hairston went on the DL on Saturday.

Letting him get away rivals the loss of Thome, Kenny, and Justice combined.

Going Deep Sometimes

Back in the mid 1960's, in Philadelphia, I went to a game where Bobby Wine hit a real shot as a game winning HR. HR nearly cleared the left field bleachers, easily a 420 foot shot. As I recall, he also homered the next day.

Wine was a career .215 hitter, with an OBP of .264 and Slugging Average of .286. He had about 3400 plate appearances in his career with a total of 30 HRs.

The morale of this story is, stuff happens.

BTW...Greetings folks!!!
