CLEVELAND -- The Indians' infield just got a little more crowded.
After some internal deliberation, the Tribe decided to bring third baseman Andy Marte back up to the big leagues before Saturday's game against the Reds.
Marte had been on the 15-day disabled list since April 23 with a strained left hamstring and made 10 rehab appearances at Triple-A Buffalo. He will take over the roster spot inherited by outfielder Franklin Gutierrez, who was optioned back to the Bisons.
If this prevents Dellucci from batting against lefties, I'm all for it. But if it takes at bats away from Garko . . .
