Longoria a Ray for life

Evan Longoria signs a 6-year extension with a team option for a 7th year. $100 million, which if he stays healthy could be a steal. The team option year is for his age 38 season, so he's basically in Tampa for the rest of his career.

Good for him, good for Tampa, good for everyone. He's making a ton, and TB is potentially saving a ton. Seems like a fair amount of risk all the way around.

Good for him. Nice to see loyalty exists somewhere. Dude could have really gotten paid on the open market.
