Brian Anderson

Brian Anderson was great today in his first game broadcast. I've enjoyed watching him on the Tribe Report since spring training this season. He is very easy to look at. Does anybody know if he is married? Just kidding...no, seriously. Is he married?

BA is taken.

And, yeah, BA has been great on TV. I wasn't able to catch his performance on the TV since I was at the game, but was told that he won't be on there all the time. But, I am sure if the feedback is positive, they'll get him on as much as possible (BA doesn't want an everyday gig).

Speaking of STO, they check these boards daily. Even the higher ups. So, feel free to post positive/negative feedback on anything in regard to programming, the Indians telecasts, on-air talent, ideas for shows, etc.

Maybe Rich should make an "STO Feedback" forum?

BA has been great, I agree. Wouldn't surprise me to see ESPN come calling for him this off-season.

I like him alot better than anyone besides Manning on STO. They need to dump Underwood and throw some loot at him, this would most likey change his mind about working everyday.

IIRC, one of the STO guys told me he was thinking about making one more run at pitching next season.

Yep, Anderson is making a comeback attempt next season. If he indeed does this, if I am the Indians I consider him (bullpen).

You seem to have some insider information on him, Consigliere. Do you know him personally?

I don't know BA personally, although I did play against him once when he pitched for Geneva High School way back in the day. The inside info is mostly from STO as not only do we have a partnership with them, but have a good relationship with them as well.

I liked Anderson when I saw the replay of the third KC game last week. Along with a very keen and easy-going guy like Rick manning, he provided a great point of view from the pitching end of things. Underwood is ok, I guess. Who was that guy with the glasses who did all of the road games last season? That guy put me to sleep.

BA was an instrumental part, if I remember correctly, if the 1997 team. BA, Ogea, and J Wright were on point in the '97 playoffs.

Do you mean John Sanders? If that who you are thinking about the Indians let him go this past offseason (dealt for an announcer to be named later).
